We’re 1/4 of the way through the regular season, and the 49ers are one Brett Favre miracle away from being an undefeated team. The experts at ESPN still seem to think the 49ers are the mediocre team they saw last season, because they’ve got them ranked #12 in their weekly power rankings. Mike Singletary certainly doesn’t mind the lack of attention, because he’s trying his hardest to keep his team grounded despite the suddenly high expectations that comes with such a great start. The 49ers will face the 2-1 Falcons this week.
