I might as well post this as it goes viral than let anyone down by not letting them see it until it’s “news”. I guess Philip Rivers was working with some high school QB’s at a local camp recently, and one of the kids beat Rivers in a passing drill. Before people compare this to the Lebron-getting-dunked-on by a college player incident, let me explain how this is different. For one, the high schooler only beat him in accuracy. I’m sure if we brought out the radar gun we’d see Rivers put a lot more on his throws. Second, Rivers never confiscated the tapes like Lebron did. He doesn’t care if some kid beats him at one drill one time. So he’s embarrassed for a few hours, get over it. Lebron had his lackeys confiscate the tape as soon as his incident happened. I guess protecting his image is more important than showing he’s human. If I had that tape I would have ran with it, and they would have had to beat it out of me (I hear Lebron has enough money to settle any lawsuit I’d bring against him).
