Sports Illustrated has released their first mock draft of the year, and it has the Chargers using their 1st round pick on Ohio State running back Beanie Wells. Chargers Fire Some Coaches

Thursday 15 January 2009 @ 4:14 am

The Chargers management, clearly disappointed with the performance of the secondary this season, fired two assistant coaches yesterday. The coaches were assistants Kevin Ross and Bill Bradley. Management has also indicated that more firings are on the way. It’s obvious they were disappointed with the 8-8 season, even though it somehow led to a playoff berth and even a win in the wild card round.
