It looks like Motorola is preparing to release a Smartphone running on Linux in the RAZR form factor. I’ve linked to some spy shots of the device, which hopefully will run a whole lot smoother than Moto OS phones.

This is a message to all cellphone and PDA makers: do not make your own operating system. Hire some Linux pros, and have them make a custom OS based on that. It seems that more and more companies are doing this after years and years of trying to make their proprietary OS work… and failing.
