The Eagles will start their season on the road in week 1, but they’ll usher in the 2009 home season in week 2 on September 20th with a game against the New Orleans Saints. The Saints seem to be everybody’s sleeper pick in the NFC this year, but not mine. I really don’t see a big improvement over last season, and a strong possibility they could do even worse. The fact that they have to play the Eagles in week 2 doesn’t help them much. This will be the first chance for Eagles fans to see how the Eagles are going to implement Michael Vick into their offense at Lincoln Financial Field. Tickets are going for a reasonable $75 – $100 on the resellers market.
