It’s been 4 days now since the Patriots traded a ghost to the Raiders. Richard Seymour still has not checked in with the Raiders, and it’s not clear if he ever will. Seymour was upset with the trade, as he has a house in Massachusetts and his children were going back to school this week. He has to uproot his whole family as a result of this trade, but that’s just the nature of this business. If he declines playing for the Raiders this season, he’ll lose out on the $3+ million he was owed and he won’t be eligible to become a free agent next year, missing out on millions more. If you’ve seen Richard Seymour within the past few days, please report his whereabouts immediately to Al Davis. Do not attempt to approach him, as he is consider big-armed and dangerous (and a little angry).
