Here’s a video of what happened during the pregame before the Mets-Yankees game on Sunday. I can’t wait until the next Subway series!

Do The Mets Have The Swine Flu?

Monday 1 June 2009 @ 11:02 pm

Rumors are floating around that the mysterious stomach virus that has sidelined a sizeable chunk of the Mets roster lately is the same Swine Flu virus that has closed schools in Queens. I believe that at least some of the injuries being reported right now are not the “strains and sprains” that are being reported to the press. Ask yourself this: if a dozen Mets were suffering from the Swine Flu, would management want to tell that to the press or would they try to hide it? I wouldn’t blame them, either. The last thing we need is more Swine Flu paranoia.

Mets Hold Off Braves… Oh, And I’m Back!

Wednesday 6 May 2009 @ 3:52 am

The rumors are true, folks. Mr. Met is back and reporting for Damox Baseball Online. I have recovered from my injuries after drunkenly falling under the L Train at the end of last season while on my way to cash a winning lotto ticket.

Livan Hernandez, who seems to get crushed every time he faces the Braves, won just his 4th game against the team in 25 starts as the Mets beat Atlanta by a final score of 4-3. David Wright and Ramon Castro had doubles that drove in some key runs in the third inning. The Mets are now almost back to .500 at 12-13. The Braves dropped to 11-15 on the season.
