Arizona Cardinals at Giants – October 25

Saturday 29 August 2009 @ 3:17 pm

You can still get tickets for this game here

It’s going to pain me to say this: the defending NFC champion Arizona Cardinals will make a visit to Giants Stadium on October 25th. I don’t care that the Cardinals are coming here to play, it’s just it sickens me that they are the NFC champions from last season because they were such a mediocre team. I’m predicting the Cardinals win 6 games this season, and the biggest surprise for some observers will be that they’ll play pretty much the same as last season (except in the playoffs and Super Bowl, of course). The G-Men will win this game by 20 points, which I’m sure will disappoint the NFL folks who were looking for an exciting game from this nationally-televised Sunday night game. Low end tickets can be found in the $125 range, with better tickets available for a couple hundred each if you’re trying to impress your friends.

Oakland Raiders at Giants – October 11

Tickets, tickets, get yer tickets!

Despite being a Giants fan and mostly hating on other teams from the NFC East, I have a special kind of hatred for the Oakland Raiders. I always have, from the first day I became a football fan when I was a kid. I’ve enjoyed watching their franchise fall apart after they imploded in the Super Bowl. I really have nothing nice to say about the Raiders. They are a terrible football team that takes pride in hiring degenerate drunks and criminals and putting them in uniform. It disgusts me that this sorry hoard of felons will be allowed to enter Giants Stadium on October 11. It’s like having John Wayne Gacy over for dinner. You don’t want them touching anything, you don’t want to make eye contact with them, you just want to beat the crap out of them and kick ‘em out the door. Tickets for this game can still be found on the secondary market for as low as $110 a ticket. More expensive (and far better) tickets are also available.

Washington Redskins at New York Giants – September 13

Tuesday 25 August 2009 @ 3:01 pm

Who still hasn’t bought tickets for this game?

The Giants square off against the division rival Washington Redskins on opening weekend at Giants Stadium. The Redskins have a revamped offense that will look to give Eli and company trouble, but we all know how awful they’ve played in East Rutherford in recent years. There are over 3,000 tickets for this game available on the secondary market, ranging from the $110 for Plaza Corner seats all the way up to $24,000 for a 22 person luxury suite complete with parking passes. I knew I shouldn’t have turned down that offer from Goldman Sachs to pursue my dream as a sports blogger.
