I don’t think any of the experts saw this coming at the beginning of the season. The Saints are 4-0, and they’re ranked #4 in ESPN’s weekly power rankings. Drew Brees and company have been rolling so far, showing the potential to put up gaudy offensive statistics while putting huge points on the board. Their defense is showing signs of improvement as well, which is a bad sign for the rest of the league. Combine Drew Brees’ offense with a good defense and you’ve got a team not only looking to go deep in the playoffs, but also looking for their first Super Bowl championship.

The Saints versus Jets matchup is probably the biggest game on the NFL schedule this week. Both teams are undefeated, and both have been surprisingly impressive in their first 3 games. Something has to give, and a Madden video game simulation makes it looks like it’s going to be the Jets that will take their first loss of the season. Drew Brees will have another big fantasy day, throwing for over 300 yards. Final score: Saints 34, Jets 27.
