Brett Favre claims now that he knew about his biceps injury with 5 or 6 games left in the season last year, and he offered to sit down even though his “Iron Man” streak was on the line. The Jets collapsed at the end of the season, partially because Favre had throwing a pass more than 10 yards without it flailing like a dead duck. If Favre gets in similar trouble this season, let’s hope Vikings management isn’t stupid enough to ignore the issue just so fans can see Brett Favre. Unlike the Jets, I think Vikings fans care more about winning than putting a former superstar out on the field.
