Brett Favre will let the Vikings know whether he wants to be their quarterback this year by July 30th. That seems to me like too long for the Vikings to wait. Shouldn’t they be formulating their offensive game plan right with one or two quarterbacks in mind? It’s not like they’ve got other guys that are interchangeable with Brett Favre. I’m really pessimistic about this season if the Vikings are willing to go this far out on the limb for an old quarterback with very diminished skills who wants to wait until a month before the start of the season to decide whether or not he wants to play.
