As some of you probably know, the Milwaukee Brewers are not descendants of the Milwaukee Braves franchise that once played here. In fact, the Brewers are a 1969 expansion team that started out as the Seattle Pilots. The team was moved to Milwaukee after just once season in Seattle and given a name more appropriate for the region.
