Sports Illustrated’s mock draft currently has the Texans picking defensive end Aaron Maybin from Penn State. Maybin is an excellent pass rusher who would help out the Texans opposite Mario Williams. My biggest problem with Maybin is his size. Although he’s 6′4″, he only weighs 240 pounds, which isn’t enough for my taste. I’d prefer to see him around 250 to 255 for that height. He’s not skinny by a normal man’s standards, but he is by NFL defensive end standards. Here’s an interview with Maybin from a couple years ago:

Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson has been selected to the AP All Pro first team. The AP All Pro team does not require a player represented from each team, so it’s considered by many a more honorable selection than making the Pro Bowl team.
