The Fifth Element DVD Review

There have been several DVD versions of The Fifth Element, each with a unique name. This review will be for the The Fifth Element Superbit Collection. Released in theaters in 1997, The Fifth Element was one of the more memorable science fiction flicks in a decade that featured some pretty awful sci-fi movies, and a few good ones. This was definately a weird movie, with an intricate plot that was perhaps a bit too detailed, but never very smart. It's a mind-numbing action movie at many times. If you're looking for something profound, go watch 2001: A Space Odyssey. Actually, go watch 2001 either way. It's a great movie.

Look at these incredible prices on The Fifth Element DVDs. What's that? You're not an Ebay member! Perhaps it's time to crawl out of that cave and into the 21st century. Register as an Ebay member now. Of course it's free! It boggles my mind when I see people pay retail for items they can get on Ebay for 80% less.

The features on this DVD are mostly technical. The picture is pretty and the sound is clear. The extras are lacking, which is kind of sad considering the movie was made but 8 years ago.
