has been over 25 years since Ridley Scott gave us the original
Alien. Ridley Scott is the guy that made that famous Apple "1984"
commercial. Some of you can see where this is going. Everyone
knows that three-in-a-set is called a trilogy. Star Wars taught
us that. I never knew what four-in-a-set would be called, because
most movies that get the third sequel end up getting a fourth,
fifth, sixth, and so on. To prove this fact, see Jaws 53. This
time, the shark has lions that jump out of its mouth. Scary.
Scarier still are these Alien movies. These were not the cute,
cuddly aliens like E.T. These are the spiky, deadly aliens,
like Paris Hilton in that movie. |
