Bears vs. Browns tickets
Two of the NFL’s oldest teams square off when the Cleveland Browns come to town on November 1. Look for Cutler and Forte to have a field day as they dominate the dogs outside of the dog pound. Tickets for this game are reselling at slightly lower than average prices. Some can be found for under $110, which is a deal for Bears home tickets. Group luxury boxes are also available in the $3,000 range.
Brian Urlacher played all of 1 quarter of Sunday night’s opener against the Packers before dislocating his wrist — an injury that will likely sideline him for the rest of the season. This is the second straight year one of the NFL’s top stars has had a season-ending injury during the first half of a week 1 game. The Patriots Tom Brady tore his ACL and MCL in the opener against the Chiefs last season.
I know the situation doesn’t look good for the Bears right now. Not only did they lose Urlacher, but they also lost the game to a division rival. Despite all of this, there is a bright side. The Bears defense actually played well even after Urlacher left the game. There are a few players on the market who could be brought in to play linebacker and who have worked with the same style of defense in the past. The Bears were in this game right until the very end, and the Packers are a better team this year than they were last year, so there’s no reason to think the Bears won’t be competitive this year even without Urlacher leading the defense.
