| Toyota started out as a division of Toyoda Automatic Loom Works,
a company that made textile looms. I think the new Scion series
made by Toyota may be inspired by the appearance of these textile
looms. Seriously though, Toyota has been around since 1933, and
now they are among the most reliable cars in the world. Toyotas
tend to be fairly inexpensive, making them popular with younger
buyers who want something they can drive fast and modify to their
liking. It is a little known fact in the tuner world that adding
a massive spoiler to a Toyota will increase the top speed of the
car by 200 mph and lower the 1/4 mile time to under 8 seconds. Each
sticker also adds 50 hp. |
