The Jeep started as a military vehicle made by Willys. Following
World War II the Jeep became very popular because of its offroad
ability. The Jeep was the first vehicle that really could "go
anywhere." Today the Jeep has many models for the non-offroading
consumer, such as the Grand Cherokee, but models like the Wrangler
can still leave the pavement behind in favor of adventure.
