Enzo Ferrari started the Ferrari car company in 1940 following
a long stint of car making with Alfa Romeo. The Ferrari has only
been racing since 1947, although it is widely recognized as one
of the most successful racecars. Fiat bought majority ownership
of Ferrari in the 1980s, and Enzo died in 1988. The lastest flagship
model from Ferrari is named the Enzo in his honor.
