Here’s a cool video of a Subaru that has Tracks on it instead of wheels. Tracks are usually installed on trucks in places that get a lot of snow, such as northern Canada. It looks like they would be a lot of fun on cars as well.
I found this video of the first Audi R8 commercial. This car is technically AWD, but with a 98% bias towards the rear wheels. It will retail for just under $110,000.
By now, you’ve already seen the Top Gear videos of the Bugatti Veyron. You’ve probably seen some grainy walkaround videos of the world’s fastest supercar as well. This video is neither. The camera is not as artistic as Top Gear and not as grainy as the videos shot by some teenagers mobile phone. This is the Bugatti Veyron in its natural environment: on the streets, cruising around at a speed near the speed limit. It’s still fun knowing that this baby can take off in a flash down any wide open stretch.
I found this video of the new Dodge Challenger concept car. This car will be going into production, and it’s my favorite of the retro comeback cars, a group that includes the Chevy Camaro, Dodge Charger, Pontiac GTO, and I suppose the Chevy Impala. The Challenger actually looks a lot like the original, although much sleeker and probably a lot quieter. I just love those partially covered headlights, it looks so menacing.
I’m sure they’ll put a HEMI into a high performance version of this car, so it’s sure to be hot among car collectors.

I found this video of a Maybach that costs $8 million. I’m sure these cars are very rare and very fast, but they look terrible on the outside. It looks like an Audi with a weird body kit. The wheels seriously look like those wheel covers that Wally World sells for like $15. I’d definitely take 4 or 5 Enzo Ferraris over this piece.
Check out this awesome video of a 1964 1/2 Ford Mustang doing a burnout. I don’t know what kind of tires he’s got in the rear, but when he starts the brake stand it looks like the car is on a dyno - that’s seriously how little friction he was getting between the asphalt and the tires.
A few years ago Top Gear had a little competition called the Car Olympics. They pitted various cars from different nations against each other in some unusual tests. Here’s a video of the long jump, featuring a AMC Pacer, Citroen 2CV, and several other small cars. You might be surprised at the country whose car wins this one.
Here’s a great video of the Bugatti EB 110, a four wheel drive supercar that also featured an engine with 4 turbochargers. Also included in the video is a Lamborghini Diablo SE30 and a Ferrari F50. This video may be 10 years old, but the cars are still way ahead of their time.

I love watching heavy old cars going real fast. It just takes so much power to move all that weight, and if you’ve ever been to the local track you know you can hear all that power screaming out the exhaust.
I don’t know who Jim Pranis is, but he builds one hell of a nice Dodge Charger. This 68 Charger does the 1/4 mile in less than 9 seconds. Watch the vid:
I was watching a special on the history of the Corvette last night on the Speed Channel, so I felt it would be appropriate to post a Corvette video today. This is just a walkaround of a 1957 Corvette. This is my favorite color scheme on available on this car, the black with the red inlays on the side and red interior.
