I’ve got to say, from this video I would have to conclude that the Acura NSX provides the most bang for the buck. It’s not every day that you get to see one race a Lamborghini Murcielago and a Ferrari 360 Modena, not to mention the Porsche Carrera.

Here’s an absolutely fascinating video of the world’s fastest street legal car. The man who built this baby packed over 2000 horsepower under the hood. So what base car did he choose? Perhaps a Chevy Bel-Air, or maybe a Corvette? Nope. A Dodge Charger, Ford Mustang, or Chevy Chevelle? Guess again. He used a 1972 Vauxhall Victor. Those Brits sure know how to modify a car.

The buzz in the car world this week has all been about the new Audi R8 supercar. This is really the first car of this caliber to carry the Audi tag, although Audi has owned several high-end exotic car manufacturers. Check out the cool video of the R8 below. Here’s a thrilling 3 minute video of a Ferrari 355 racing a Dodge Viper on Deadman’s Road. They aren’t the fastest cars, or the quickest around corners, but this is still a great video. One of these cars fails to make a turn and goes over the steep edge of the road. Guess which one!

Here’s a fantastic video of a Ferrari 275 racing through the streets of Paris. I’m told that the man who shot this video (actually, he just strapped a camera to the front of the car, but whatever) was fined, even though he hired a professional driver to make sure the car didn’t hit anything.
You can’t actually see the car, since the camera is on the front, but the sounds and the speed make the video worth more than the price of admission, which just happens to be free.
