Falcons/Bills tickets – December 27
The Falcons will play their final home game on December 27 with a rare visit to the Georgia Dome by the Buffalo Bills. I can’t remember the last time the Bills came into town, but we probably destroyed them. There seems to be a high demand in tickets for this game, possibly because people want to buy tickets for their family and friends as a Christmas gift. Falcons tickets do make good stocking stuffers.
Falcons vs Saints @ the Georgia Dome 12/13 tickets
The Saints come marchin’ in to Atlanta to get trounced by the Falcons on December 13. The Falcons only have one more home game after this, and it’s the last home game before Christmas, so there is some increased demand in tickets for this game. Prices are still relatively low, from $15 to $500.
Falcons/Eagles tickets – December 6
The Falcons will show the Philadelphia Eagles who the stronger birds are on December 6 with a game at the Georgia Dome. There are lots of tickets still available for this game ranging from $20 – $550, depending on who you want to impress and how close you want to be to the action.
Falcons/Bucs tickets @ Georgia Dome – Nov 29
The Tampa Bay Bucs come into town to get beat up by the Falcons on November 29. This is a normal Sunday game with a 1:00pm start time. I’m seeing some really cheap tickets available for this game right now, but you’ve got to be quick because I expect some increased interest in this game as Bucs fans migrate north for a game in the Georgia Dome.
Falcons / Redskins tickets @ Georgia Dome – November 8
After what seems like a lifetime away from home, the Falcons return to the Georgia Dome on November 8 to play the Washington Redskins. There are still thousands of tickets available online, so don’t get caught overpaying from some skeevy scalpers outside the stadium. The nosebleed seats are still out there for under $50 a ticket.
ESPN’s has released their power rankings following the week 4 games, and the Falcons are sitting well at the #9 spot. They were one of the first teams to have a bye week this year, which means it’s a long stretch right through to January for the dirty birds. They’ve got a very tough test this week as they travel to San Francisco to play the 49ers.
The Falcons are one of the dominant teams in the NFL, they’re just waiting for someone to notice. ESPN certainly didn’t notice when it ranked the Falcons #4 in their weekly Power Rankings, behind the Colts, Giants, and Ravens. Perhaps they didn’t notice how lucky the Giants and Colts were to pull off wins in the final minutes in their respective week 2 games. I know I shouldn’t care, because power rankings mean nothing and divisional standing means everything, I’d just like the media to show us a little respect once in a while. We’re more than just Matt Ryan and Michael Turner highlights. We’ve got a whole team here, and they’re actually quite good.
Falcons v. Bears tickets on October 18
After spending nearly a month away from the Georgia Dome, the Falcons return home to face Daaaa Bearsss on October 18. This is a Sunday night game with a 8:20 start time, so tickets are selling at a premium over normal daytime game prices. You can still find some decent seats on the resale market for under $50, while the luxury seats and the 50-yard line tickets are selling for $200 and up.
Falcons vs. Panthers tickets 9/20/09
The Falcons host their second straight home game on September 20 when the Carolina Panthers come into town to play in the Georgia Dome. I’m seeing these tickets selling on the secondary market for about half the price of opening day tickets from Sept 13. There are even a few seats out there selling for less than $30 if you don’t mind sitting in the nosebleeds. If you’re in Atlanta on business (ie – the corporate dime) or you’re just trying to impress some friends/ladies, there are still 50-yard line and luxury seats available as well.
Dolphins @ Falcons – September 13 tickets
The Falcons kick off their season on September 13 when they play host to the Miami Dolphins in a non-conference regional-rival game at the Georgia Dome. This is a Sunday game with a 1:00pm start time. Tickets for this game are selling at a slight premium on the secondary market, but there are still thousands being sold online on Stubhub or eBay. If you can’t find Upper Endzone tickets (eg: 330’s) for under $60 a ticket, try looking a little harder.
