| Vasily
or Wassily Kandinsky was born in 1866 in Moscow, Russia. He was
a pioneer in the field of abstract art. He started painting after
moving to Munich in 1896. He lived much of his life in Germany
before moving to France before the start of World War II. He died
in France in 1944. Kandinsky had a condition called synesthesia,
which caused his senses to mix together. He could literally hear
colors. |
