Alienware computers have been around for many years now. They are considered to be high end computers, using the fastest components and very dramatic exterior design elements inspired by alien culture.

Unfortunately, in recent years I’ve known many people who have had serious problems with their Alienware computers. The people at customer service were not exactly helpful, so I decided to start this site to push the company to get their act together.

Of course, as many of you know, Alienware was bought out by Dell earlier this year. That does not mean that they use Dell customer service or have the same repair/return/replacement policy. As you will learn in future articles, Alienware does not have a lemon policy. Many other computer manufacturers do have this policy, and it gives customers a new computer if their old one has a certain number of failures not caused by accidents in a certain period of time.

Some of the defects my friends have found in their “high end” laptops include screens that quit working, complete hard drive failures, and poorly constructed plugin slots. I’ll share with you many other problems from people across the country.
