CPM, or paid per impression
programs, used to be the norm during the internet boom. Brick-and-mortar
companies were running huge CPM advertising campaigns with the trendy
dot coms, and the trendy dot coms were running CPM ads with the
smaller dot coms. Now things have changed, and most of the big CPM
advertisers are only dealing with the big dot coms. I'll assume
that visitors to this site do not run a big dot com site. There
are still some decent CPM programs out there:
|
They pay $1 CPM with a pop-up ad plus $.40 for
every visitor that signs up for one of their free newsletters.
These pop-up ads may annoy your visitors and other advertisers,
so you should be careful using this program. |
As you can see, there
really isn't much available in the CPM market anymore. My suggestion
would be to not waste your time with CPM, and just focus on CPC
and CPA. |
