Cost per click Affiliate Programs
CPC (sometimes referred to as PPC, or pay per click) is great for big and small sites. It not only makes publishers good money, it is also a great way to effectively market your own site or business. Here are some of the better programs out there:
Firstbookmark
UPDATE: This is no longer a reputable company. DO NOT PROMOTE THEM, they will not pay you.
Currently pays $.02 for every clickthrough. You may use any term you like to link to them, because they all lead to the same page.
They have a list of categories you can choose to link to. Some categories pay $.20 per click. The lowest category is $.05, which is still really good.
$.06 per clickthrough. They have certain requirements for the terms that you choose, or you can pick a term from their approved list. This is a very solid program.
They don't reveal their payout rates, but publishers claim they get a higher CPC from Adsense than from any other program. Individual text links are not allowed, as they provide a banner filled with text links related to the topic of your site.
They pay $.06 per click, but limit you to terms that have a bidded price of at least $.12. They have a program that will tell you if the keywords you want to use are acceptable.
FirstName
PPC forums have given this program some very good reviews. They pay $.20 per click, although they require the visitor to click on another page after clicking through from your site (referred to as "second click"). They have a very deep referral program.
WebAnyWay
50% revenue share means you'll be earning half of the bid price for keywords. Use a search box or text links. Minimum amount to receive a check via PayPal is just $5.
They give you 60% of the bid price. Your website must have a privacy policy to be accepted.
TargetWords
Pays $.01 to $.08 per search or click through. They also offer pre-made search portal pages, so you can have a page that looks just like a search engine (and you get paid as soon as someone clicks on a link).
LookingInfo
35% revenue share. Also 10% of all referral revenue. They even allow you to promote your text links without a website.
EasySearchAll
65% revenue share and you earn 21% of revenue generated by your referrals up to 5 levels.

There are many ways to use CPC programs. You can make a table and fill it with different terms, with each term being a link to a CPC program. You can also find words within the content of your site and replace the words with a text link. Here is an example: This site is about affiliate programs. As you can see, the term "affiliate programs" is a text link for a CPC program.

The best part about CPC programs is that they don't disturb the look and feel of your site. You can place them just about anywhere and your visitors won't think "this site is spamming me with ads."

If you already have your website set up I would suggest doing a "blanket" sign up for all the PPC programs on this site (this should take less than an hour, and it'll be well worth it), along with any other reputable PPC programs that you can find (there are others out there). Your site may be rejected by a few of the programs that have special requirements. Sometimes you may be able to fix your site to match their needs, but even if you can't you'll still have a dozen or so other affiliate programs that you can use instead.
